Monday, May 20: 6:30pm social hour 7:00 program and elections
You’re invited to join us at Fuller Recreation Center (4802 Grand Ave So) on Monday May 20 for our Annual Meeting. We’re excited to share the work of our organization from 2018 as well as our plans for 2019 and beyond. 2019 will be a thrilling year as we unveil new events, initiatives, and investments in our neighborhood. Don’t miss your chance to be in the know!
You’ll also have a chance to hear from awesome speakers including Mayor Jacob Frey, Council Member Jeremy Schroeder, and Park Board President Brad Bourn.
Free food provided by Sol Taqueria will be available beginning at 6:30pm while supplies last.
A critical component of the annual meeting is the election of new board members. The election process is low key and we would love to welcome new renters, homeowners, and business owners to the board. Learn more here.
Additionally, the board will vote on a revised set of Bylaws which will affect newly elected board members and the operations of our organization, learn more here.
Join your neighbors for free food and great conversation. Childcare provided (arrive early to ensure a spot).
Social Hour begins at 6:30pm – Program and elections at 7:00pm
Attendees will also have a chance to vote for their favorite Storm Drain Stencil Design from our three finalists:
Join the Board!
- Do you care about seeing Tangletown thrive?
- Are you interested in what’s going on in the neighborhood?
- Would you like to get to know more of your neighbors?
If yes, we hope you’ll consider joining the Tangletown Neighborhood Association Board. We need engaged community members who care deeply about our neighborhood to serve on the board. Board members help determine how city resources are spent, what community events and initiatives get planned, and how to best engage our neighborhood. Learn more about board member expectations here. Board meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 7pm at Fuller Park.
Join a Committee!
Want to get involved, but being on the board feels like too much? Consider joining one of our steering committees. We currently have three committees for each of our strategic planning core vision areas:
- Engaged, Welcoming Community
- Innovative Environmental Leadership
- Beautiful, Purposeful Spaces
Committees meet on a monthly basis. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if interested in joining a committee.
